HCG's expertise and technical direction comes from Ron Hart. Ron's entire career has been in the roofing and construction industry since 1975. He experienced field conditions, working first as a contractor. He worked as Vice President of Operations for one of the largest commercial roofing companies in the United States gaining vast knowledge in all types of commercial roof applications. Taking his cumulative experiences, he merged with Tillery & Associates, Inc. in 1998 and formed Tillery Hart Engineering Consultants, Inc. Ron has personally inspected over 950 million square feet of roofs across the United States. He has authored hundreds of specifications, including new roof, roof replacement and extensive roof repair specifications. He has been providing consulting services including field evaluation, design services, moisture surveys and field inspections for industrial, institutional and commercial clients. Ron is often called upon to be an expert witness in roofing, waterproofing and exterior construction failures. Additionally, he has been involved in litigation, expert witness, phenolic foam insulation claims and has assisted in settling many cases for various clients. Many insurance companies have called upon Ron for his professional services as a result of natural disasters, such as hurricanes and tornados, to assist in the emergency roof inspection, repair and replacement process. His clients have benefited from his years of experience, professionalism and expertise in obtaining the most cost effective solutions for their needs.
